After you defeat your opponents in turn based battles the Pokemon gain experience and can then level up. After catching them, you need to train them to win battles against other trainers. You primarily control a young Pokemon trainer who needs to catch a few Pokemon characters. There are plenty of adventure elements in the game that is presented in a third person perspective. The role playing game uses Pokemon characters that can be controlled by the player to carry out the game objectives. The title supports an extensive single player campaign as well as a highly engaging multiplayer mode. The standard edition of the game comes with a PEGI rating of 7. The game is also one of the first to be rendered completely in Polygonal 3D.
